NOACA’s bicycle and pedestrian planning program works to improve the region’s transportation infrastructure so that bicycling and walking can be safer and more convenient options. Additionally, bikeways and sidewalks provide connections to other modes of transportation, and allow for a healthier and more environmentally friendly way to get from here to there.
