Finance and Audit Committee

APBP Webinar Series: Conflict Resolution: Good Sidepath Design
Date: Wednesday, Nov. 14

NOACA hosts viewings of the 2018 Association for Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) monthly webinar series as a way to bring stakeholders, colleagues, and clients together to explore bicycle and pedestrian issues and build support for active transportation. The webinars offer training credits that may meet professional accreditation requirements. To register for this webinar, please email bikeped@mpo.noaca.org.

Taylor Road Corridor Study Public Meeting
Date: Thursday, Nov. 15
Time: 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Place: Cleveland Heights City Hall, 40 Severance Circle, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118
The Taylor Road Corridor Study will help the cities of Cleveland Heights and University Heights identify ways to make Taylor Road safer and more desirable for people who walk, bike, and take public transit. Come to this public meeting to offer your input on existing conditions and voice your concerns and priorities.

Transit Council

NOACA Night at the Movies
Date: Monday, Nov. 26
Time: 7:00 – 9:30 p.m.
Place: Cedar Lee Theatre, 2163 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118
Help us continue to celebrate NOACA’s 50th Anniversary by attending a private screening of the film “Divided Highways,” which depicts the history of the biggest public works project of all time: the Eisenhower Interstate Highway System and the positive and negative effects it had on the country it connected. The screening also features an animated short film, “It's the Greatest Little City,” by Howard R. Maier, NOACA’s retired executive director. Free popcorn and soft drinks will be provided, and there will be a drawing after the film for 4 tickets to the Cedar Lee Theatre (winner must be present). The event is free, but seating is limited so reserve your seat for NOACA Night at the Movies now!

NOTE: NOACA will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12, in observance of Veterans Day, and on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 and 23, in observance of Thanksgiving.
